Community Beautification Committee meets

The Community Beautification Committee held its monthly meeting Nov. 8.

Ornaments for this year’s fundraiser have arrived, and will be placed in the flower shops and Chamber Office. Plans were discussed for a December Thank-You luncheon for those who have helped us with contributions and support toward completing the “Welcome to Fredericktown” sign.

This year’s sponsors included: Black River Electric, Madison County Farm Supply, Madison Medical Center, Missouri Natural Gas, New Era Bank, Ozarks Federal S&L, Sargent’s Construction and Wal-Mart.

After the meeting was adjourned, this year’s ornament, which recognizes the Paul Vance Regional Airport, was presented to A. Paul Vance. For information regarding this year’s ornaments call 783-8592.
