Stephen ‘Hytech’ Barton

DESLOGE — Stephen DeWayne Barton, 40, of Bonne Terre, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was born December 11, 1970, in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Stephen was an avid racer, especially sand drags and four-wheelers. He also loved duck hunting, and spending time with his buddies and family.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Sandy (Smith) Barton; parents, William “Red” Barton and wife Lou (Louise Ruby Barton); one brother, Joe Barton and wife Beth; a special niece, Grace; father and mother -in-law, Wink and Helen Smith; one sister-in-law, Theresa LeBeouf and Husband Mike; niece, Shyla; a number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives; as well as his faithful fury companion Zoey.

Visitation will be held 4-9 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge with Pastors Mike Barton and Kendall Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to B.J.C. Hospice or Parkland North Facility Auxiliary Fund.
