Zimmerle faces prostitution charge
DESLOGE — A Desloge woman who was arrested in October for prostitution has been charged.
On Tuesday, Patricia Zimmerle, 30, of Desloge, was charged with the Class B misdemeanor of prostitution. If convicted, she could be sentenced up to six months in jail and/or fined $500.
According to the probable cause statement, Desloge Police and Mineral Area Drug Task Force received information that Zimmerle was engaging in prostitution services at her residence on Vandervoot.
On Oct. 20, an undercover officer went to her residence and inquired about the services she was providing. They came to an agreement of $100 for sex.
Members of the task force and the Desloge Police Department then took Zimmerle into custody. She admitted she had been performing sexual acts for money from her residence.
She said she had 50 to 60 clients and the price depended on her mood at the time.
