Quick start fizzles for Lady Rebels

DE SOTO — The Central Lady Rebels jumped out to a 12-1 lead before the host team, De Soto Lady Dragons, could get focused on the task at hand. De Soto answered with the next five points before the quarter ended, and after cutting the lead to three at the half, the Lady Dragons had their game in overdrive to send the Lady Rebels packing with a 55-42 win.

 Riley Owens was top scorer for the Lady Rebels with 17 points, Briley Merritt finished with nine points, and Sydney Skaggs scored seven.

 Central (2-4) will be at home for their next game on Monday against Bismarck.
