Vehicle overturns, injures man

An Annapolis man was seriously injured Saturday when his 1995 Polaris ATV overturned in Iron County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Daryl Pierson, 49, was westbound on Route BB at 7:25 p.m. when the ATV ran off the road and overturned, 5 miles west of Vulcan.

Pierson was flown by air ambulance to Barnes Hospital.

Damage to the ATV was listed as minor.
