Filings update
Additional fillings for municipal office have been made. Below is a list of the new filings.
Bonne Terre
Another individual has filed for a seat on the Bonne Terre City Council.
Jason Keller filed for the Ward 4 position. The current councilman for Ward 4, Ed Hottle, has filed for the Mayor position while Daniel House Jr. filed for Ward 2.
City of Desloge
Incumbents Mara Westbrook and Alvin Sutton have filed to retain their seats as Ward 1 and Ward 3 aldermen, respectively. They join incumbent JD Hodge who filed for re-election last week as Ward 2 alderman. All three open alderman positions are for 2-year terms.
Farmington
To date all incumbants for city council have filed for an additional term. That includes Larry Forsythe, Lynn Crites, Darrel Holdman and Mark Kellogg. No one else has filed at this time.
Farmington School Board
To date incumbent Jane Bates filed for another term. District residents Donna Byford, Dr. Sunil Chand and Lindell Barton also signed up to run for one of the available seats.
Park Hills
Additional candidates have filed in three wards in Park Hills. Matthew Rector has filed in Ward 1, and is challenging incumbent Jeff Cunningham.
In Ward 2, incumbent David Edgar has filed as has Gabriel Barlow. Sara Cruse had already filed.
Ward 4 incumbent Charles Politte also has filed.
There are no new filings in Leadwood.
