Stanley Wayne Jaco
Stanley Wayne Jaco, 63, of Fredericktown, MO, formerly of Granite City, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, MO. He was born April 7, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of the late William and Gladys Jaco.
He is survived by three children: Christine Oneill of Cahokia, Michelle Maki of Pickerington, OH, and Toby Jaco of O’Fallon; four grandchildren; a brother, Roger Jaco of Granite City; and a sister, Mary Tucker of St. Charles, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and three close friends: Kirby Looney, John Lasley and his Pastor, Carl Cureton, all of Fredericktown.
Mr. Jaco was employed as a tugboat captain for Eagle Marine, based out of East St. Louis. He later worked for Ingram Barge Co. in East Carondolet, IL . After his retirement, he worked for Madison County Sheltered Workshop in Fredericktown.
According to his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
