Local author to present book at The Loft

Author Frances Madeson will present her book “Cooperative Village”  during the  First Friday event, January 6, at The Loft. Previous artists still on display include: Margie Greene, Jami Knight, Abi Borrego, John DeBold, Dillon Dyer, Ruth Ann Skaggs, Megan Henson Johnson, Brenda Millard, Charla Francis, Denny Henke, Sabrina Wagganer and Corey Warner.

The Loft Community Arts & Welcome Center is a combined effort between Fredericktown Revitalization Initiative and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce.Regular hours for the loft are Tuesday and Friday Noon – 4 pm.  In addition to the regular hours, The Loft is open the First Friday of every month from 6-8 pm.  During Loft hours, visitors may enjoy a variety of local art styles including photography, sculpting, quilting, stained glass and other media. There is free wifi and free coffee.
