Barbara J. Mitkos
PARK HILLS — Barbara J. Mitkos, 70, of Leadwood passed away January 6, 2011, at her residence. She was born March 28, 1941, at Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by: Father, Marvin Lightfoot; husband, David Mitkos; and son, Joseph Mitkos.
She is survived by: Mother, Bertha Lightfoot of Emporia, Va.; children, Mark Mitkos and wife Dr. Patricia Airey of Roanoke, Va., Sandy Mitkos and friend Jerry Morgan of Leadwood, and John Mitkos of Ironton; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, William Lightfoot of Prineville, Ore., and Gary Lightfoot and wife Marge of Donaldson, Iowa; sister, Peggy Loveless of Emporia, Va.; special friend, Charles Creameans of Cherokee Village, Ark.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills with Chaplain Jacob Polland officiating. Interment at Bismarck Masonic Cemetery. Memorials may be may to BJC Hospice.
