Lady Bulldogs still unbeatable

LEADWOOD — The West County Lady Bulldogs are 12-0 on the season after defeating the Kingston Lady Cougars 64-25 on Monday.

The Lady Bulldogs crushed any upset hopes by the Lady Cougars as they jumped out to a 25-2 first quarter lead. Katie Gettinger was on her game again with 27 points, and Lauren Callahan and Jones scored 12 points each. Paige Forshee finished with seven.

Sami Deaton led Kingston in scoring with 13 points, and Misty Guenther made two three-pointers for 12 points.

The win also gives the Lady Bulldogs a 4-0 record in the conference with a showdown on Thursday at Arcadia Valley which is also 4-0. Kingston (1-9) will host Valle on Thursday.
