Mary Helen Stacey

Mary Helen Stacey, 76, of Fredericktown, Missouri died January 10, 2012, at the Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown.  She was born June 29, 1935 in Madison County, Missouri, a daughter of Charles Roland and Serena Lucrita (Tinsley) Miller Sr.

She married Joseph Roy Stacey August 2, 1958, in Madison County. He preceded her in death in 1989. Her parents and brothers also preceded her.

Survivors include: one daughter, Brenda G. Edmond of Fredericktown; grandchildren Amy Campbell, Jennifer Heaps, Teresa “Crickett” Pierce, and Danielle “D.D.” Wilson; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was a Mine LaMotte High School graduate and worked as caregiver for home health agencies. Her greatest enjoyment was sitting outside and watching as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren played.

She was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Fredericktown.

A memorial service was held January 13, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A private interment may be held at a later date.
