West County board meets
The regular meeting of the West County R-4 School District’s Board of Education will take place at 6 p.m. today, at the administrative office, 1124 Main St., Leadwood.
A tentative agenda of items to be covered during the meeting has been released. It includes:
Call to order; recognition of visitors; approval of minutes; payment of bills and adoption of the agenda.
Recognition of high school students.
Staff reports: PBS Program report; At-Risk Program report; administrator’s report; and superintendent’s report.
Committee reports.
New business: School Board Recognition Week; Distinction in Performance Banquet; bid requests for a bus and bus camera; and consideration of qualifications of substitute applicants.
Old business: Fundraisers and capital improvements.
Recommended executive session: 1) RSMo. 610.021 section 3 & 13, hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting an employee, personnel records and performance ratings. 2) RSMo. 610.021 sections 6&7 scholastic probation, expulsion or graduation of identifiable individuals, testing and examination materials. 3) RSMo. 610.021 legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public government entity.
