Edith Lucille Killian

Edith Lucille Killian, 99 years, 11 months and 23 days, died February 23, 2012 at Fredericktown. She was born February 28, 1912 in Madison County, Missouri, the daughter of William Augustus “Gus” and Nellie Elvira (Keelin) Shaw.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother Milford Shaw; brothers Clifford Shaw and Jerry Ray Shaw; sisters Laverne Shaw, Geraldine Illi, and Levila Shaw.

Survivors include sisters Alma Maeras of Granite City, Illinois, Lavada Smith of Fredericktown and Anita (Windy) Henson of Fredericktown; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Edith was of the protestant faith. She enjoyed her time at the Bee Trucking Company.

Funeral services were Feb. 26, 2012, at Follis and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Charles Newell and Brother Jason Henson officiating. Burial was in the Christian Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ivan Sikes, Taylor Sikes, Jim Guinn, Kris Tucker, Kurt Tucker, and Doug Stevens.
