Church makes plans for Easter Egg Hunt

PARK HILLS – It’s barely March and True Life Family Church in Park Hills is getting ready for their Easter Egg Hunt.

The church didn’t have an egg hunt the past couple years but plans to come back this year with a bigger and better egg hunt.

The Easter egg hunt will be 2 p.m. March 31 at Serenity Hospice Care on the Mineral Area College campus.

“We hope to have 10,000 eggs,” Pastor Gene Coleman said.

Janine Boyer of the church’s ladies ministry fixed up 31 baskets to give away as prizes. There are also a couple of grand prizes including a bicycle.

Local businesses like Country Mart, Sears and Culver’s have made donations for prizes but additional candy, restaurant coupons, toys, etc. are needed for eggs and prizes. Volunteers are also needed for set up.

For more information, call Event Coordinator Terry Boyer at 573-747-6826.

True Life Family Church is located at 3 Crane Street near the Farmer’s Market in Park Hills.

The church offers a Bible Institute School Ministry at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is no fee.
