Anna Marie Belken
FREDERICKTOWN — Anna Marie Belken, 90, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Camelot Nursing Center in Farmington. She was born July 26, 1921, at Ironton, a daughter of Arthur C. and Edith J. (Mayes) Hale. On April 16, 1937, in Festus, she was united in marriage to John Robert Belken Sr., he preceded her in death on October 20, 2003; her parents and one son, John Robert Belken Jr. and one daughter, Phyllis Hunt and seven brothers and four sisters also precede her.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law,Charles and Carol Belken of Libertyville; daughter and son-in-law Clara and Wilburn Miller of Knob Lick; one sister, Ruth Martin of Arkansas; nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Anna was a homemaker; she enjoyed working with crafts, making dolls and collecting knick knacks; her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fredericktown.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Reed officiating. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. www.wilson-funeral-home.com
