Horse show at Lonedell

Horse lovers are invited to participate in what the Show Me Morgan Horse Club hopes will become an annual event.

The club will hold a Horse Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 31 at the Lonedell R-14 School, 7466 Highway FF, Lonedell. The festival will include a traveling tack store and photographers, artists and jewelers who feature equines in their products. Artisans will have products at the festival, or horse owners may commission their services for personalized items.

The club will sponsor a craft corner where children and the young-at-heart may decorate horse shoes, door knockers or belt buckles. They also can choose to make horse puppets, pony pencils and Morgan Horse puzzles.

American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) and Ride on St. Louis will be present to talk about their programs. A canine flyball group will provide entertainment.  There is still room for additional vendors. To participate in the festival or for more information, send an e-mail to psrfarm@gmail.com.
