Franklin named February Student of the Month
The Farmington Elks Lodge #1765 is proud to announce that the Farmington High School Student of the Month for February is Haley Franklin. Haley is the daughter of Carma and Denny Franklin. Her honors and awards include Missouri Girls State 2011, National Honor Society, Harold Wright Award, and Sophomore Pilgrimage.
Organizations Haley has been involved in include membership in the Student Council 2008-12, WYSE Academic Team, Family Career and Community Leaders of America 2008-12, Standing on Scripture 2008-10, the National Honor Society, Health Services Club President 2011-12, Class Secretary 2008-12, Girls Only Science Club, College Preparatory Club 2010-11, Character Council, and A+ Program.
Haley’s other activities include 2008-10 Basketball, 2008-12 Volleyball Teams, 2009 Track Team, Soccer Team 2010-12, and the Youth Group at New Heights Church.
After graduation from high school, Haley plans to attend a four year university and major in nursing and then become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. As Student of the Month Haley will receive a $100 savings bond and will compete for the Farmington Elks Farmington High School Student of the Year to be awarded in May.
