Saying Final Farewell to Fireman

The Bismarck Fire Protection District and Bismarck Rural Association, along with numerous area fire departments and districts, came together Friday to send a brother fireman home.

Willis Hadler, former Bismarck fire chief, took his last ride on a fire truck following his afternoon funeral service held at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Bismarck.

The engine carrying Mr. Hadler’s casket led a funeral procession that included more than 10 fire trucks from around the area.
