Anna Marie Belken

Anna Marie Belken, 90, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Camelot Nursing Center in Farmington, Missouri. She was born July 26, 1921 in Ironton, Missouri, a daughter of Arthur C. and Edith J. (Mayes) Hale.

She married John Robert Belken Sr. April 16, 1937 in Festus, Missouri. He preceded her in death October 20, 2003.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, John Robert Belken Jr., daughter, Phyllis Hunt; seven brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Belken is survived by one son, Charles  Belken of Libertyville, Missouri; one daughter, Clara Miller of Knob Lick, Missouri; one sister, Ruth Martin of Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Anna was a homemaker. She enjoyed working with crafts, making dolls and collecting knick knacks. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Fredericktown.

Funeral services were March 7, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Reed officiating. Burial was at the St. Michael Cemetery in Fredericktown.
