Bulldogs edge out Warriors

ARCADIA  — The West County Bulldogs came out on top of their quad meet played at Arcadia Valley, besting the Valle Warriors by just two strokes. Trevor Mills of Bismarck was the medalist with a 40.

Doug Lawson was low man for the Bulldogs  with a 48, just one stroke ahead of Ryan Steel at 49. Ben Newman and Dylan Whitter both shot a 52.

Joe Moulton took low score honors for Valle with a 45. Leslie Fallert was next at 51, and Susan Roth shot 52. Matthew Hermann rounded out the team score of 203 with a 55.

With Mills 40, the Bismarck Indians ended up with a team score of 218. Cody Schafluetzel took 54 strokes to cover the nine holes, Teagan Lorenze shot a 56, and Julie Ketcherside finished with a 68.

Non-conference foe, Clearwater was the fourth team entered in the meet, and the Tigers scored 212 on the course.
