Nobel presents program at Women’s Connection

Howard Nobel’s presentation on “Founding Mothers” for the February Women’s Connection Brunch, canceled due to the weather, is rescheduled for Tuesday, April 10th from 9:15 -11:00 a.m. at Rosener’s Restaurant, Hwy 67 North in Park Hills. Nobel said that although much is known about our “Founding Fathers, little has been written about our “Founding Mothers.”

One reason for this is because women of that day, for the most part, were limited to exerting their influence in a private and behind-the-scenes way, but there were exceptions to that proposition.

Ladies of the Parkland are invited to come and learn the identity of some of these accomplished and influential women and meet guest speaker, Barbara Gaines of Savannah, MO, who will share some funny stories in her talk “What part of “Meow” don’t you understand?”  Call your reservations for the $9 Brunch to Tillie @ 756-4839, Helen @ 756-5220, or Lucy @562-7492.
