The seventh annual French Heritage Seminar has been set for April 14 at St. Michael’s House in Fertile.
A talk will be given by Kent Beaulne on the historic homes saved and reconstructed on the site, including the Duclos-Pashia home. Members of the Pashia family will also answer questions about what it was like living in a log cabin built in 1844.

The Pilot Knob Mountain Boys will entertain before lunch, playing tunes popular during the Civil War era, and then from 1 to 3 p.m., there will be a tour of the village site.
Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. and the welcome will begin at 8:50, followed by the speakers and tour. Lunch is at noon.
