Washington Franklin Students Compete

Washington Franklin Elementary School had four students participate in the Regional Math Competition held at Mineral Area College on March 31.

Cooper Williams and Natia Turner both were in the top 10 in the contest. Turner took first in concepts and third in problem solving. Turner will go on to compete in the state competition in Springfield.Williams took fifth in concepts, while Maggie Todd and Lance Ryan were honorable mentions.
