Joan Adele Gatson, 61, of Cedar Hill, Missouri died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born June 5, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Elmer and Isabel (Sauer) Tiemann.
She is preceded in death by her parents
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Gatson of Cedar Hill, who she married July 12, 1980 in Webster Groves, Missouri; four children, Mark Clark of Fredericktown, Missouri, Beth Clark of Waterloo, Illinois, Matt Clark of Festus, Missouri and Sara Gatson of Hillsboro, Missouri; six grandchildren; siblings Sharon Bollinger of Barnhart, Missouri, Jean Kennedy of House Springs, Missouri and Bob Newstead of Ironton, Missouri; step-mother, Rete Tiemann of Ironton; and many other relatives and friends.
Joan’s family always came first – and never even took a “back seat” to shopping, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from noon until time of Service at 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.
