Darrell Sumpter
PARK HILLS — Darrell Sumpter of Park Hills, Mo., passed away Thursday April 19, 2012, at Missouri Baptist Hospital. He was born May 23, 1942.
He was preceded in death by parents: Noah Sumpter and Elsie ‘Helms’ Sumpter; sister, Paula Helms; brothers, Monroe and Billy Sumpter.
He is survived by his wife: Judy ‘Kaiser’ Sumpter, three children, several grandchildren, one great grandchild; brothers, Udal Sumpter and wife Gladys, and Sam Helms; and sister, Delores Dalton.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Monday April 23, 2012, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home.
