St. Mary’s water fails test again

Tests of St. Mary’s water have once again come back positive for coliform bacteria.

The city has had ongoing issues with is water system since October. In February, a contractor made repairs to a standpipe which was believed to be the problem. The tank was also cleaned.

The Department of Natural Resources has been involved in the investigation of the problem.
