Trojans split two on Saturday

POTOSI — The Potosi Trojans played two games in their own tournament on Saturday, winning the first 4-1 over Bishop DuBourg and losing the second 7-1 against Winfield.

Dylan Coleman pitched the win for the Trojans, giving up only three hits and a walk, while striking out only two.   Coleman enjoyed two hits in the game along with Dakota Glore and Jacob Reed.

In game two Glore hit a triple and Coleman and Ryan Portell both hit two singles. Lane Short, Colby Eckhoff and Reed hit one single each. Short took the loss, pitching six innings with four strike-outs.

Potosi (6-10) will play this afternoon at Fredericktown
