Photo Deadline Passes: Book Orders Continue

The deadline for submitting family photos for the Madison County Pictorial History Book has passed.  Over 1700 photos have been submitted to the publisher.

Final preparations are being completed and the book is expected to be available by late May.

Orders for the book will be taken until the book is printed.  As a limited edition, all who wish to reserve a book must do so before the final order is placed with the publisher.  

Photos of the county and her families, including photos of communities, churches, schools, businesses, organizations, memorials and tributes in this library quality, hardbound book are expected to be the source for anyone interested in Madison County’s pictorial history for many generations to come.  Children, grandchildren and descendants of those whose pictorial histories are preserved in this book will be sure to treasure their copy.

The Historic Madison Museum is open on Tuesday afternoons from 1 – 4 p.m. for your convenience in placing your order.

The Madison County Historical society is a non-profit organization whose purpose in publishing this book is to preserve in one place the photographic records of our communities for the enjoyment and education of our descendants.
