Robert “Wink” Warren

Robert “Wink” Warren, 64, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his home in Cherokee Pass, Missouri.  He was born March 31, 1948 in Ironton, Missouri, a son of Issac Newton and Virginia Aldine (LaComb) Warren.

Mr. Warren married Dorothy Mae Jordan March 12, 1972, in St. Louis, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Bernice Kieth; brother Raymond “Teddy” Warren and an infant brother.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy; sons  USMC Sgt. Eugene “PeeWee” (Rhonda) Jordan and DeWayne (Missy) Jordan, both of Fredericktown; daughters  Tammy Dulaney (Leon) Janes of Dexter, Missouri and Lisa Jordan of Belvidere, Illinois; brother Newton Gail Warren of Ironton; sisters Dorothy Yarbrough of Bloomsdale, Missouri, Nancy Waller of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Alice Turner of Bloomsdale; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Warren owned and operated his metal recycling company in Cherokee Pass. His family was the most important thing in his life, and he  savored the time he spent with them. He was of the Lutheran faith.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Stafford officiating.Burial was at the Antioch Cemetery near Fredericktown.
