Bonne Terre Council to consider barrier codes for spas, weed ordinance and movie nights
BONNE TERRE — The Bonne Terre City Council will have several things to discuss during their meeting Monday night.
The council will vote on a request from VMPC (Royce Vessel and Flora Denton) for a special-use permit for an bed and breakfast or inn at the former Victorian Veranda.
The council will also vote to approve a liquor license for Bada Bang Pizzeria which will be located at 522 Benham Street Suite B.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at city hall. It is open to the public.
In other matters, the council will open sealed bids for rotor system improvements and Dairy Queen area lift station upgrades.
Associate County Commissioner Patrick Mullins will discuss an Intergovernmental Agreement for short-term utilization of county equipment on thoroughfares connecting city and county roadway.
The council will vote on a barrier code (fence) for residential pools, spas and hot tubs; approve an amended weeds ordinance; discuss possible dates for spring cleanup; approve 2012-13 committees; approve a fireworks permit for Barefoot Village; vote a request for re-subdivision of Eaton’s Subdivision; consider a request by Community Betterment to have a monthly movie night.
