Edna Marie Ott

Edna Marie Ott, 83, of Tomball, Texas, died May 5, 2012. She was born June 3, 1928 in Carroll County, Ohio, the daughter of Golden and Dorothy (Davisson) Watkins.

She married Melvin Ott July 27, 1962 in LaPorte, Indiana.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents Golden Watkins and Dorothy Davis; brother Cecil Watkins, brother-in-law Clarence Landgraf; and two nieces.

Survivors include her husband; sisters Jean Landgraf of Fredericktown and Virginia Prewitt of St. Louis; brother Donald Watkins Sr. of Brewster, Ma.; and several other relatives.

Edna was active in her later years. She and her husband loved to dance, something they could be found doing with friends many Saturday nights. She had a life-long love of pets, and was caring for two dogs, a cat, and two ducks, at the time of her death.

Funeral services were May 9, at Klein Funeral Home Chapel in Tomball with J.D. Baugus officiating. Burial was in Klein Memorial Park-Pinehurst.
