Desloge man hurt after vehicle overturns

A Desloge man received moderate injuries Thursday when his 1996 GMC Sonoma overturned in St. Francois County.

According to the Highway Patrol reports, Kyle D. Weible, 29, was northbound on Old Bonne Terre Road at 9:55 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle while eating. The GMC traveled off the left side of the road. Weible overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to travel off the right side of the road and overturn, 1 mile north of Hawthorne Street.

Weible, who had been wearing a seat belt, was flown by air ambulance to Barnes Hospital.

Damage to the vehicle was listed as total.

A Fredericktown teenager received minor injuries Wednesday after his bicycle struck a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria in Madison County.

According to Highway Patrol reports, Craig A. Talbert, 18, was trying to make a turn at Madison and Pacific streets in Fredericktown when he struck the southbound Ford, driven by Wendell C. Bellew, 44, of Fredericktown.

Talbert was taken by ambulance to Madison Medical Center. No injuries were listed for Bellew.

Damage to the Ford was listed as moderate. No damage was listed for the bicycle.

A Farmington man received minor injuries Wednesday when his 2005 Ford Taurus overturned in Jefferson County.

According to the Highway Patrol, Humberto Guerrero-Duran, 54, was northbound on U.S. 67 at 11:50 a.m. when the Ford traveled off the road, struck the median cable barrier, overturned over the barrier and came to rest in the median of the southbound lanes, .2 mile south of Route V.

Guerrero-Duran, who had been wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Damage to the vehicle was listed as total.
