Wilma Mosier
MINERAL POINT — Wilma Lee Mosier, 79, of Mineral Point, Mo. departed this life Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born Jan. 26, 1933 in Stoney Point, Mo. a daughter of the late Frank and Grace ‘Gilliam’ Tedder.
Wilma was united in marriage to Lester Mosier on March 4, 1950 in Pocahontas, Ark.
Preceded in death by: Frank and Grace ‘Gilliam’ Tedder; a son Luther Mosier; a grandson Brian Lynn Vandergriff; a sister Margaret Cox and two brothers Hobert and Paul Ed Tedder.
Survived by: husband of 62 yrs. Lester Mosier; two daughters Diana (Tom) Schutz, Rhonda (Roger) Vandergriff; two sons Donald (Kathy) Mosier and Mickey and Charlotte (Lou) Mosier all of Mineral Point; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Glore and Betty Mosier of Mineral Point and Kay (Kenny) Hamby of Cadet; two brothers, Larry (Sandy) Tedder of Bismarck and Marvin Tedder of Potosi.
She accepted Christ at a early age. She worked at Trimfoot for many yrs. and retired in 1996. She spent her early retirement traveling with family and fishing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing quilts for each of the children and grandchildren.
She was the best wife, greatest mother and grandmother and will sadly be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Minister: Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Burial: Mosier Family Cemetery- Stoney Point.
