Knights scheduled to play in the dome
The Farmington Knights will take on the Sikeston Bulldogs as part of the Great American Football Classic. The Great American Football Clasic will feature four high school football games with the six other teams from the metropolitan St. Louis area. The games will be held on September 15th at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. Kickoff for the Farmington/Sikeston game will be 1:30 p.m.
Advance tickets will go on sale Monday August 6th at 8 a.m. Advance tickets will be $11 and will be good for admission to all four games of the Great American Football Classic.
In addition to the football game, the Farmington High School Knightline, Cheerleaders and the Black Knight Marching Band will be participating.
Farmington High School will be offering a travel package for FHS students. For $20, students will receive a game ticket and bus transportation. Buses will leavethe high school at 11 a.m the day of the game. Students can purchase the travel package at the High School’s Athletic Department.
Area youth football teams will be particpating in the event as well. Members of the Mineral Area Youth Football League will form the pregame tunnel for the Knights to run through prior to the game. Discounted tickets for the MAFL players will be available in the next two weeks. Those tickets will be on sale for $8. Detailed information regarding those tickets will be released at a later date.
