A trial date has been set for Melvin J. Zielinski, 68, of Fredericktown.

He will appear before a jury 9 a.m., February 7, 2013, at the St. Francois County Courthouse. Zielinski is charged with six counts of first degree child molestation.

A Franklin County man was arrested for first degree child molestation due to an incident which allegedly occurred at a family reunion in Madison County in September, 2011, according to a probable cause statement filed by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Franklin L. Whited, 40, of St. Clair, was arrested last month and is free on a $20,000 bond. He will appear before Judge Robin Fulton on August 23.

Scott A. Dollins, 48, of Fredericktown, was arrested July 29 for second degree burglary after allegedly breaking into a trailer.

According to a probable cause statement filed by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Dollins admitted he tried to open a window at a residence and when it would not open he broke it out.

Dollins is free on a $5,000 bond and will appear before Judge Robin Fulton on September 13.
