Eugene B. Horton
DESLOGE — Eugene B. Horton, 83, of Park Hills passed away August 18, 2012. He was born February 11, 1929, at Farmington to the late Bert and Essie (Byington) Horton. Also preceding him in death were his son, Rob Horton; grandson, Casey Horton; and Daughter-in-Law, Debbie Horton.
Eugene was a member of the Esther Baptist Church, and a member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (R.S.E.S.). Eugene owned and operated Computer Room Service for over 25 years.
He is survived by his wife Lois Jean Horton of Park Hills; children, Sheri Horton of Illinois, Larry Horton of Farmington, and Rene Eder and husband Neil of High Ridge; grandchildren, Sheri, David, Jeramie, Chris, Jacquelyn and Jared; great-grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Jacob, Nathan, Mikala, and Charlie; sister, Linda Scott of Park Hills.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday August 21, 2012, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
