Ivan W. Cash

Ivan W. Cash, 87, of De Soto, died Aug. 8, 2012, at Jefferson Barracks Veteran’s Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born Sept. 23, 1924, in St. Louis.

Mr. Cash was preceded in death by his mother Pinky Cash.

Survivors include his wife, Clara (Culton) Cash of De Soto, MO; daughter Wilma Young of Bloomsdale, MO; sons Ivan Lee Cash and James Cash, both of DeSoto, MO; sisters Dora Mae Aubuchon of Festus, MO and Ethel Jean White of Bonne Terre, MO; brother Artie Glenn Holdman of Bonne Terre, MO; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ivan was a member of the Teamsters Local 688, and a Life Member of VFW Post #6883, Bonne Terre, MO and Post #1831, De Soto, MO.

VFW Service was Sat. Aug. 18, 2012 with Military Honors. A Memorial Gathering was also Saturday, at  Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, in DeSoto.
