Spray nets three goals as Raiders win opener

FESTUS — Sophomore Levi Spray tallied three goals on Monday, and the North County boys soccer team debuted the new season with a 6-1 victory over the host squad at the Festus Classic.

Kyle Bonney, Kyle Kruz and Zach Edgar also scored for the Raiders, who built a 3-0 lead at halftime.

The North County defense surrendered just four shots on goal as keeper Sam Schrum earned the win.

North County (1-0) will face Saxony Lutheran today.
