Lady Bulldogs drop last two games to South Iron
LEADWOOD — The West County Lady Bulldogs had things under control for the first game of their best of three match with the South Iron Lady Panthers on Tuesday, but after a late charge in game two it was all South Iron as the Lady Bulldogs fell by a score of 25-20, 23-25 and 19-25.
West County (1-2) were led at the service line by Hannah Hollock and Carissa Brewer with 15 service points each. Hollock served five aces, made six kills, six digs and five blocks and Brewer had three aces, seven digs and four assists. Bailey Marks made seven assists and three kills for the Lady Bulldogs.
West County will host Valley on Thursday for their first conference action.
