Four Knightettes shoot below 50
ST. LOUIS — Freshman Carly Ferguson carded two birdies while shooting a medalist round of 41 at The Highlands in Forest Park.
The Knightettes delivered their strongest results of the fall golf season with a composite 178, easily winning a dual match as Clayton finished with 210.
“Our four counting scores were all under 50. We haven’t done that here in quite a while,” Farmington coach Brad Downs said.
Paige Gallagher added a birdie of her own during a round of 42, just one shot off the pace. Farmington teammates Alex Kearns fired a 46 and Lauren Roberts scored a 49, respectively.
