Scheldt joins Mineral Area College’s English department
PARK HILLS – Brandon Scheldt has joined Mineral Area College’s English Department.
Scheldt comes to the community college from Southeast Missouri State University, where he taught in the intensive English program. He earned a master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) from Southeast. He earned his bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
He is a member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, and Missouri Community College Association.
Scheldt lives in Farmington, but keeps in touch with his parents in St. Peters and his sister in Brooklyn, N.Y.
In his spare time, Scheldt enjoys watching college football, shooting hoops, and running 5Ks for charity. He also enjoys playing guitar, and is currently taking a MAC class to improve his abilities.
