Kingston wins conference opener
CALEDONIA — Kingston created separation late in each game Thursday to open the MAAA Small-School volleyball schedule with a 25-19, 25-21 victory over Valley.
Kingston improved to 4-3 overall.
Erica Crocker recorded five kills with two blocks at the net, and setter Tatum Heifner registered 10 assists and two ace serves for Valley.
Callee Payne made six digs and matched Kiana Loughary with a team-high nine points. Rachel King sent down four kills.
