Carol Sims

FARMINGTON — Carol Jean Sims of Farmington, passed away September 3, 2012. She was born May 18, 1938, to the late Dallas and Lela (Pierson) Sims.

Carol Jean is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James and Patricia Sims of Caledonia. Also surviving; niece Trishanna (Tim) McCoy of Park Hills; nephew Jason (Cara) Sims of Caledonia; great nieces and nephews Scarlett and Stetson McCoy, Ayden and Ella Sims, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carol Jean was preceded in death by her life partner of more than forty years, Jeremiah Buckley.

Memorial services will be held on September 15, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Derrick Meek officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
