Bismarck man hurt after accident early Tuesday

A Bismarck man was seriously injured in an accident early Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Travis Gregory, 41, received serious injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.

The accident occurred at 12:46 a.m. Tuesday on a private drive in Lake Hannah Lake Development. According to reports, Kyle Ives, 25, of Bismarck was operating a motorized go-cart pulling a lawn trailer. Gregory was riding in the trailer when he flipped the dump lever, causing him to be ejected from the vehicle.

Ives was arrested on suspicion of DWI. Charges of second-degree assault-vehicular and misdemeanor DWI will be sought.
