Lady Tigers crush Lady Bulldogs for 1st conference win

IRONTON — The Arcadia Lady Tigers played a strong game at the net to defeat the West County Lady Bulldogs in two games 25-11, 25-12. Kristen Williams Led the Lady Tigers with 12 kills, and Megan Williams connected for nine more along with 10 service points and one block.

Jaelyn Crocker served 11 points for the Lady Tigers and also made good on 14 assists.  Katelynn Lamb had defensive honors with 14 digs, and Kristen Williams had nine.

West County’s Tiffanie Jones sparkled for the Lady Bulldogs with three kills, two blocks and three digs as well as serving five points. Macey Farley had two kills, and Hannah Hollock had one. Miranda Lashley served six points and also made one block.

West County (7-7 and 1-1 MAAA) will host Valle Catholic on Thursday. Arcadia Valley (9-10-1 and 1-2 MAAA) will also be in action on Thursday when they travel to Valley for another conference match.
