Richard McMahon

Richard “Mac” McMahon, 76, of Savannah, Georgia (formerly of Fredericktown, as well as Festus, Missouri), died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Savannah Hospice House. He was born November 15, 1935, in Webster Groves, Missouri, the son of George and Marcella McMahon.

Preceding Mr. McMahon in death were his parents; and siblings Gene and Jeanette.

Survivors  include his son Brad McMahon of Savannah; five grandchildren; and his sister-in-law Helen McMahon of Festus, Missouri.

Mr. McMahon was a business owner and later worked for IBEW Local 1. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and member of the Elks Lodge, VFW, and lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed his flowers and gardening.

A private memorial service was planned for a later date. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
