Arcadia Valley defeats Valley in three

CALEDONIA — The Arcadia Valley Lady Tigers evened up their record on Thursday by defeating the Valley Lady Vikings in the best of five games, 25-23, 25-15, 25-6.

Kristen Williams kept the Lady Vikings defense reeling as she leveled 14 kills in the match to go along with 14 digs on her rotation into the back row. Megan Williams had 10 kills and seven digs, and Jaelyn Crocker made 19 assists with Hannah Inman taking service honors with 14 points.

Erica Crocker made four blocks for Valley to go along with a pair of aces at the service line. Rachael King served 10 points including two aces, and she also made two kills and three blocks. Kiana Loughary made good on three digs, and Tadum Heifner had six assists.

Arcadia Valley will host Potosi on Monday, and Valley is scheduled to play in the West County Tournament on Saturday.
