FFA Members Participate in the SEMO District Fair

Members of the Fredericktown FFA chapter recently participated in the events at the SEMO District Fair in Cape Girardeau.  FFA members Jake Hinkle, Sam Wagner, Ryan Mauk and Jesse Rehkop participated in the tractor safety rodeo.  

Several FFA members exhibited livestock. Abbey Mooney, Katie Baldwin, and Hunter Baldwin exhibited market lambs.  Colman Erwin exhibited an American Babydoll Southdown Ram and Ewe. Brady Brewen exhibited two market hogs.  FFA members also exhibited crops. Abbey Mooney exhibited sunflowers and soybean. Brady Brewen exhibited grain sorghum and barley. An FFA leadership board was exhibited by Trevor Singleton and Stephanie Lawrence.

An evening trip with sixty members attending was taken by the chapter.  The members had an opportunity to view the many agricultural and commercial exhibits on display.
