No injuries in mobile home fire
An unoccupied mobile home was devastated by fire 6 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Hillsboro and Cedar Run Road.
According to Desloge Fire Chief Larry Gremminger, no one was in the building at the time of the blaze. The chief said the exact cause of the fire is unknown, but may be linked to a propane tank which responders had to secure. The mobile home did have an electric meter in place as well.
When the department arrived on the scene, the structure was fully engulfed. Firefighters reported they could feel the heat from the blaze on Cedar Run Road more than 150 feet away.
Departments from Desloge, Park Hills and Big River Fire responded to the incident. The trailer was completely destroyed.
