Job Fair set for Nov. 7
A Job Fair will be held from 9 am to 2 p.m. Nov. 7th at the Centene Center in Farmington, next to the Civic Center.
If you’re unemployed, a recent graduate, or looking for a new career, sharpen up your resume, dress for success and come out to the Job Fair on No. 7th at the Centene Center Auditorium, at 2 Black Knight Dr in Farmington.
Employers that will be present include: Charter Communications, Valley Springs Youth Ranch, MAC Truck Driver Training, Robinson Construction, Western Southern Financial, Corizon Correctional Healthcare, Ozark Steel, Kelly Services/TG Missouri, and the United States Navy, Mineral Area Regional, SEMO Truck Driver Training, Lee Mechanical, Accent, Parkland Health, Purcell Tire, Pyramid Home Health, Farmington Children’s Home, Highway Patrol, and MAC.
L.I.F.E., Inc. Employment Solutions will also be at the event. The corporation offers beneficiaries of the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) SSDI and SSI programs the best quality information and support to successfully transition from disability benefits into meaningful employment at a sustaining level through the SSA’s Ticket to Work Program.

Staff from the Missouri Career Center will be on-site to assist job seekers with resume services and interview techniques.
“We are going to have a mini Career Center set up where we’ll have laptops available so those people needing to complete online applications will be able to do it right at the job fair,” said Linda Fitzgerald, Division of Workforce Supervisor/ Functional Leader for the Park Hills Missouri Career Center. The job fair, is hosted by the Daily Journal, KREI/KTJJ Radio and is sponsored by ODACS, Inc.
